Peshtemal, or fouta as some call it, is originally a Hammam towel. It is traditionally made from cotton, is lightweight, absorbent and quick drying.
We make our peshtemals true to the original, only better and more versatile to take it to another level.
- it is a beach towel you can lie on it on a sandy beach,
- it is a light blanket you can sleep on it under the stars or cuddle under it for warmth,
- it is your exercise companion you can throw on a bench or on your yoga mat,
- it is your attention flare you can wave with it as a signal,

- it is your bath towel you can dry yourself with it.

Our peshtemal is made from OEKO-TEX certified 50% pure cotton, 50% bamboo and dyes. We use only natural materials so that our products are not only long lasting and healthy to use but they also do not harm our planet. Therefore no microfiber, no polyester, no acrylic, no harmful chemicals. No harsh, plastic feel. Natural, silky soft, full feeling of the cotton and bamboo, time after time.
The mixture of long stable Turkish cotton and bamboo make our yarn extra soft, durable and breathable. And our tight weaving technique makes it highly absorbent and quick drying. Another benefit of our weaving is that it is sandproof, sand shakes off very easily.
We also pre-wash our peshtemals so that you don’t have to. They are soft and ready to use. There is no shrinkage, color fading or unravelling tassels as you wash them and use them.
